Being an interdisciplinary artist is important to me. I like to pursue many interests and am happiest when I have multiple projects in front of me be it preparing for an upcoming show, planning a composition or working on a client’s commission. I render both abstract and representational work in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pencil and mixed mediums. True to my interdisciplinary ways I always have several ongoing series each distinctly different. Currently, I am active with three series: a focus on the mundane with mold on wine labels or aged patinas on maps, a meditative focus utilizing abstract paintings juxtaposed with continuous line drawings and labyrinth paintings, and layered watercolors with an architectural focus. I love to stay busy and most days you can find me painting in my studio.
